From its inception, Majhipara Ambedkar Centre for Human Research and Development has been blessed and privileged with a pro-active Governing Body having far sightedness and deep knowledge of humanity which has been instrumental in guiding and leading the Institute from whirl winds and pitfalls to the present commanding position of trust and faith of common people and the Govt machinery.
MACHRD is committed to the practice of welfare measures for the benefit of staff and employees as enshrined in the approved policies on Human Resource, Finance, Gender, Anti Sexual Harassment in Workplace and Child Protection.
With well qualified and technically sound officers and staff and a network of volunteers and animators, MACHRD is growing from strength to strength to face all challenges in implementation of projects on development and upliftment of fellow countrymen. MACHRD operates from its own building as registered office.

Health
Majhipara Ambedkar Centre for Human Research and Development is convinced and is a believer of the maxim that a good healthy mother is instrumental in making a good healthy family which in turn ensures a good healthy society, culminating ultimately into a resounding and vibrant Nation. As a major activity, MACHRD organizes and conducts health camps in rural segments. In such camps, economically weak women and children are given preference for free health checkup, Besides, we have organized camps for Hepatitis B vaccination., Thalassaemia preliminary blood test.
Brief Description of Campaign
HELP THEM, PROVIDE THEM DISEASE FREE LIFE
Many of the people especially women and children belonging to Scheduled Castes, Minorities and Other Backward Class cannot take proper food and suffer from Anemia Thalassamea, STD, Gymea problem and child diseases, and water borne diseases, T.B. and respiratory problems for lack of awareness. They do not have access to the government health services on account of remoteness, lack of communication facilities and financial crisis. Our aim is to create a medical centre in Pathar Pratima Block , District South 24 Parganas (Sunderban area) to provide continuous medical health services, including check up, test and medicines -i.e. complete treatment.

EDUCATION
We organize Anti Child Labour campaign, Anti Illiteracy Awareness Campaign.
Recently we are working on a project entitled “Schooling Reinforcement and Holistic Development of Children Programme” We run 16 Such morning schools in Sunderban in Gosaba block. There are 1552 Students in these schools belonging to Nursery to class six. There are 769 are Male and 783 are Female. Students. All belong to the poorest families. We would be happy if dress for these children and some sarees for their mothers are collected during the #Daan Utsab and especially #TuesdayGiving.
